Over the years, Molly has brought me many, many flowers from the playground. Glorious assortments of dandelions, clover, and even buttercups, lovingly plucked from the ground in the hopes of gaining my approval.
Yesterday, Brody emptied his pockets after a morning spent on the playground and presented me with these, a token of his love:
(At some point I am going to need to have a discussion about presenting a woman rocks as a gift. For any woman other than his mother, those rocks better come in a little velvet box and also double as an adornment.)
